Meet our Founder

Jayme Gillen-Weismann

I am Jayme Gillen-Weismann, M.Ed. I am the Founder and Director of Education Fundraising Alliance.

I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I moved to Arizona when I was 21 and completed my undergraduate degree in Life Science: Cellular Biology and Cell Physiology from Arizona State University. I went on to complete a Master's in Education focusing on Higher Education and Education Technology.

My husband and I are blessed with 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter.

My goal for creating a nonprofit was to find a way to raise awareness in businesses and organizations, schools and park districts about mental health and wellness, suicide prevention, eating disorder education, child sexual abuse and violence prevention, domestic violence, rape and harassment prevention and other important topics often too taboo to talk about.

As I began my journey I realized I really wanted to help anyone interested in furthering their education to find ways to make that desire a reality.

Our goal now is to help fundraise for individuals, organizations, communitites, groups or businesses looking to learn through charitable, educational, and scientific purposes in: prevention education, civic engagement, global citizenship, social awareness, experiential education, health and wellness education, mental health awareness, suicide prevention, eating disorder education, abuse prevention, servant leadership, STEAM studies, literacy, inclusion, financial literacy, foreign language immersion, exceptional student engagement, college bound foster students, and any other learning we can support.
